WRITE UP
A
20-25 minutes of Pure Entertainment & Fun awaits you when Lezard
perform his tribute to his muse; the daughter of Hong Kong, the late
Anita Mui. Witness this bona fide performer storm the stage belting out
the Canto Queen’s hits. Lezard's singing voice definitely captures the
essence of Mui's and with certain songs, combined with his Mui-inspired
stage presence, some of the audience are led into either think it is
the real Mui on stage (OK when the are quite far away and when Mui was
still alive...) or Lezard is miming to a CD.
Lezard
doesn't just
stick a headset in his mouth and mime like an ordinary female
impersonator. Lezard sings live and execute slick choreography if his
dancers are engaged for the show as well. On top of that he entertains
with a hot-blooded passion.
After
the opening song,
he drops the Anita Mui’s persona the instant he opens his mouth to
talk. He now command the stage as Lezard.
Every
minute of him on
stage is entertaining. In between songs, he banters with the crowd, he
has a finely tuned hilarious stand-up comedy segment that pokes fun at
his life experience and himself being a female impersonator. Most
people think that female impersonator jokes are all about sex and
private parts, in a nutshell R(A), No doubt, Lezard can do jokes like
that but the experienced entertainer in him knows what to say to the
right crowd. If you want it army-boys crude, he gives you army-boys
crude. If you want it funny but safe enough for high ranking government
bodies, overseas delegates, Archbishops of churches, he gives you that
as well.
Leaving
behind the ego
part whenever he goes on stage, he warms up and makes friends with the
audience. Playing games with them to break the ice and the highlight of
the show sometimes comes from the audience performing with him on stage.
Excellent
for those who
wants to have a hilariously fun time. Lezard is fluent in English,
Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and most of all Singlish. He does a
variety of songs in English, Mandarin & Cantonese and he talks on
stage mainly in our Singaporean brand of English. If there is a special
song request, he can do Japanese & Malay too.
HIS DANCERS
For a big
stage or a big
show Lezard can be backed by dancers for his opening and closing song.
These high-energy professional dancers have behind them at least six
years of performing experience. They have backed REAL stars in their
gigs at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Notably they've danced for Coco
Lee's, Jeff Zhang Xing Ze's, Kit Chan's & Sammi Cheng's concert.
Being a performer who demanded the best out of himself and his shows,
Lezard makes an effort to work with the best he can find.
